When I was asked to do a Atlanta Georgia themed KitchenAid, I was ecstatic. My client left the design up to me to do, so being that Martin Luther King was born there, I just had to incorporate him.

So some of you have been in the know of my recent work by following us via Instagram or FaceBook. If you haven’t…well, here you go 😉
So I obtained a Volkswagen Beetle 3 years ago, a 1999 that needed some major TLC. Unfortunately I was busy doing other things like painting and marketing my business, so I never found time for her. It sat patiently around the shop as we worked around her.
One day, I guess I got tired of waiting to find the time, so I made the time. I started pushing her out of one shop to move to the next side to get her going. The first thing we did was painted her a true olive drab.
Mike, Zach & Abel had helped me a lot with this project. I am surrounded by great guys who are always there when I need them.
Zach and I spent countless hours together collaborating on the design elements that we wanted to include, but most importantly she needed to remain refined and not a bunch of crap thrown together. I feel that we succeeded in that.
Mike and I went on the hunt to several shops in search of memorabilia to incorporate that would be the icing on the cake.
My favorite find was the original 1944 20 MM shell casing I used for the gear shifter and the original medic Stretchers I gravitated towards for my back seats. We made the front seats look like a throwback to bomber jackets, complete with wool inserts.
The car came together so well. I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome. Here are some pictures of her in progress to final completion.
Oh, and She’s currently listed on Ebay. Completely unexpected for me since I saw myself driving her around for years to come, but I finally obtained my dream car, a 1966 Lincoln, and really want to fix that one up. Two custom cars seems a bit too much. So IF she sells, I sure hope its to a wonderful home that will appreciate the hard work and dedication that it took to make her what she is.
A canadian client of mine wanted something close and personal to her childhood memories. We came up with the changing seasons to incorporate that feeling for her sugar shack themed KitchenAid. From the stark winter appearance of the maple trees to the colorful fall leaves, I think it came out lovely.
Check this out, a Candy Crush custom painted KitchenAid mixer! hahaha I love this game. If you haven’t played it, you might watch to watch out. It’s very addicting!
The title of this custom KitchenAid mixer says enough about this batboy!

This is a kick-ass combination. The essential mix of hotrod car culture with your hotrod of the kitchen. Hotrod flames from yellow, to orange and a touch of magenta pearl over gun metal grey base color, pinstriped in process blue. Does it get any better?

Love this quilted look for the center and the subtle fabric textures on this mixer. The plaid is 3 colors and was a pain to do, but worth it in the end. Loving this!!

This was a huge hit, our black floral KitchenAid mixer with berries. I really love the vintage feel this one shares despite its stark black background. Very elegant…
